Hall of Fame
A four-year wrestling letter winner at 126 pounds, Al Evangelista was a two-time Division III All-American and a three-time PAC champion. He posted a 65-17-0 career record for the Blue Streaks. Al was also a member of the 1st place All American 1974-75 Blue Streaks, and a member of the 2nd place All American 1975-76 Blue Streaks.
The 1974-75 team is the first team inducted into the JCU Athletic Hall of Fame, with the first and foremost credential its team national title.
