Hall of Fame
As a four-year letterwinner and starter for the John Carroll volleyball team, Beth Priestap graduated from John Carroll in 1994. Over the course her four years as a Blue Streak, Priestap was named second team All-OAC in both 1992 and 1993. She earned many awards throughout her career, including her team’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player for three consecutive years (1991-1993) and Freshman of the Year in 1990.
Selected as the team captain in 1992 and 1993, Priestap was ranked at the top of the OAC for most digs per game as a junior. She also set the OAC record for most digs in a single match with 48 against Ohio Northern in 1993.
With a record of 94-33 during her four years, the team captured OAC titles in 1992 and 1993. During her final two seasons alone, the team held a 67-7 overall record.
