Dan Carroll played for the Blue Streaks as a wide receiver during his career. that started in 1967.  He was crucial in the 37-8 win over Thiel in the 1969 season, grabbing two balls in a single drive for over 40-yards.  He had a brilliant season in 1971 and helped John Carroll to obtain the Conference Title despite a 4-5 season.

After graduating in 1972, Dan was picked up as a free agent by the Miami Dolphins.  Unfortunately, he learned that "short and slow doesn't hack it in the NFL."
