Hall of Fame
Furin was named first team All-PAC forward in 1957, 1958 and 1959.
He was the Co-Captain of the 1958-59 JCU Mens Basketball team. As a junior, he led the team in rebounding. In his final two years he averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding.
He played on the PAC Championship teams in both 1958 and 1959. He held a PAC record of 20-3 in his three years with the varsity team.
